Beauty Review – Lottie London Soap Star

DSC_0769.JPGFilter down through some of the most common first world problems and undoubtedly top of the list will be the washing of make-up brushes. Or so I thought.

Now though, thanks to the magicians at Lottie London, it no longer needs to be the case and with this little beauty it’s almost fun.

I am, of course, talking about the solid soap cleanser known as the Lottie London Soap Star. (Bonus points for the cute name)

Your brushes can now be thoroughly cleansed in just three  easy, non messy steps.

  1. Dampen/wet your make-up filled brush.
  2. Swirl the brush in circular motion over the solid soap bar.
  3. Rinse and repeat depending on the nature of your brushes’ cleanliness.

Below, I have included the before and after use pictures so that you don’t only have to take my word for it but can also see the obvious results for yourself. Make sure you leave both brushes and soap to dry.

As well as leaving your brushes like new, the Soap Star also features a very clever mesh like grid sponge underneath, which adds grip and stops the bar from slipping around when in use and ensures less chance for mess and water being left behind. It is travel friendly, infused with everyone’s trusty coconut oil and is 100 % vegan.
